What if force sensing could be simple?
Integrating a force sensor often means integrating additional readout electronics. More hardware. More cables. More complexity. We challenged ourselves to simplify that.
A different approach to force sensing integration
✔ Smaller footprint
✔ Fewer components
✔ Simpler integration
Behind the Concept
Usually, new developments stay behind closed doors until they’re ready for launch. This time, we’d like to do something different. We’re opening this project early because we want to understand whether this concept solves a real problem before taking the next step.
The Idea
Can force sensing be simpler?
We started with one question: Can we integrate the required electronics directly into the sensor and eliminate bulky external readout electronics?
First Prototype
Making the concept work
After several iterations, we successfully integrated the electronics into the sensor and established reliable communication via SPI.
First Measurements
Does it perform?
Once the prototype was operational, we evaluated measurement stability and overall system behavior to verify the concept.
What’s Next?
Now we’re asking you.
We’d like to understand whether this concept creates enough value to become a future NanoSen product.
We’d love your perspective.
Would this concept simplify your force sensing application?
Want to be one of the first to try it?
Be among the first to get your hands on it if we bring it to market.
